Guru Dutt was born on July 9, 1925, in Bangalore. His father was Headmaster in school, who later became a bank Clerk and his mother was a housewife who later became a teacher in school. In his childhood, his name was Vasantkumar Shivshankar Padukone, who later changed him to Guru Dutt.
Guru Dutt, who was a famous actor, director and film producer of Hindi films, is still an icon for the movie world. In the 1960s, he made numerous awesome movies, for example, ’Pyaasa’, ’Kaagaz Ke Phool’, ’Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam’ and’Chaudavin Ka Chand’.
