This sikh templa is very beuitiful place

Bangla Sahib Gurudwara is one of the sacred shrines of the Sikhs. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is situated in the heart of New Delhi’s Connaught Place area.


It is located on the east side intersection of Ashok Road and Baba Kharag Singh Marg. Originally this place was the Bungalow of Mirza Raja Jai Singh, hence the name Bangla Sahib. It’s original name was Jaisinghpura Palace. Mirza Raja Jai Singh was an important military leader of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.


Open 24 hours but Guru Granth Sahib Ji ( Holy Book) is available for darshan from 3.30 am onwards till 9pm ( approx) everyday. The pond inside its complex, known as the Sarovar is considered holy by Sikhs. Gurdwara Bangla Sahib kitchen, a Sikh temple which serves meals to around 10, 000 people every single day. And the food is free. For all.
