At least someone makes reasonable movies like SLB, this man is so deep in his thoughts that after watching every of his movies , IT MAKES U THINK, The story is of a renowned magician who becomes paralyzed for the rest of his life after a planned accident by his close friend, and after numerous attempts to recover, he is not able to move, even his hand to scratch his nose, what a life.
now after fourteen years of struggle with his paralyzed life, he wants to die, but with the respect from the world, and at this point , the story starts.He is was being cared and fed by a beautiful and sensitive, SOPHIA, she has been there for him for the past 12 years without being paid and away from her alcoholic husband whom she is divorcing.
then there is a student who wants to be just like him, and a very friendly lawyer, who fortunately happens to be a very sensitive and loyal friend of hrithik, (SLB always takes u 2 a dreamy world of his).the whole movie is full of surprises and deep emotional bonds that we usually dont see in our lives and this makes this movie a one in a million.
this movie will always be very close to my heart as it makes me think of my father who after loosing his job and home and property lost hope in this very real life of ours, he was physically handicap, he lost his left leg below knee and after even winning a fight with gas gangrene, he was still able to do his job as a physiotherapist but eventually died in Oct 2008 after he lost his all in sep 2006, it was such a trauma and shock that he could not bear the pain, no farewell after 20 years of service and no gratuity that rightfully belonged to him, he was fighting with the authorities for a noble cause and died after 2 years collapsing his lungs due to too much of smoking cigarettes.
it was very clear , because of us he didn’t committed suicide, so he just killed himself by tabbaco, after more than 2 years I still cry for him even being a full grown adult male, so I know exactly how hrithik feels after watching this movie, though I want to take revenge for his death from those who did wrong to him, but I am not being a Christian if I dont leave this to GOD.
watch it and dont forget this movie, a story of a man who looses all except his courage and great smile, a role spendedly played by hrithik and all the cast crew members, and to tell u the fact this movie should go for the Oscars.
