For all those who have had the great fortune of studying in campuses where student politics and its ugly side never crossed the paths of those intent on academic pursuits, this is a great treatise on all the shades of a student life, particularly the politics bit.
The movie revolves around Jimmy Shergill and Irfan Khan. Two people, both connected to student life in differet ways and yet as different from each other as chalk and cheese. Irfan Khan gives one of his trademark superlative performance at the end of which even non-believers would start swearing by his name... power packed, brilliant, performance by him.
The most amazing aspect of the movie is the dialogues, brilliantly penned and even better delivered by the cast particularly Irfan Khan. Jimmy shergill gives one of his better performances as a love struck student who get involved into the student politics at college.
It’s one of those movies that you can see over and over again without getting bored. Every single moment that Irfan spends on the screen is a delight to savor.
