I had bought Haier Fridge(worth rupees 42000) exact 1 year back and I had issue with water leakage from it. First Haier said that the fridge is out of warranty hence they will give paid service. I agree to that and Following is my experience:
The technician had reported that the problem is with the fridge drain. As the pipe connecting Ice Fridger to the bottom tray is blocked.
The technician did not came with proper tool or he was not properly trained or he does not want to put efforts that, he tried to open the drain with a metal wire.
While opening the backside trim in Ice Fridger and the condenser broke due to improper tools.
He had put lots of hot water to open the blockage(assuming that the block happen due to ice formation) but nothing happened, hence he had suggested to switch off the fridge for 3 to 4 hours.
Now funniest part my problem(service request) was reported to be closed with out solution and I have to do whole circus(calling to Haier service desk -> Listening their options -> selecting my concern so on and on and on)
I have the following concern with this incident:
Can Haier, being a world class brand, not maintain the dignity of their service engineer by providing them proper tools to execute their job?
I had been said by their customer care executive that, due to dust the pipe got choke, I asked for my previous 16 year Samsung fridge never had issue on dust choke, did you purposefully designed your product for this extraordinary feature?
I had used Samsung Fridge for more than 16 years, there was not a single problem; Is Haier giving a solution that a customer shall either not keep the fridge on too cool mode / or if they are keeping it they are supposed to switch off the fridge for 3 to 4 hours to avoid the issue?
Does Haier team not have any technical solution of the problem?
