After Haji Ali Durgah, if there is anything in Worli, that is as famous, it is the Haji Ali juice Centre. It is as old as time itself, even my parents used to go there as kids.
The humble juice centre hasn’t changed much with time and with a huge number of loyal customers and new one’s pouring in every single day, it doesn’t have to. Like the name suggest, it serves a long list juices and mocktails. Earlier they served only juices and milkshakes but with time they expanded their menu to include pizzas, sandwiches and other snacks.
So why bother writing a review about a juice centre? Well this one has definitely earned it. It’s not your regular juice parlor. They are actually the few ones who introduced combination of juices like ganga jamuna in Mumbai. Their milkshakes are nothing less than decadent. Copious amount of fruits blended with milk, ice cream and cream and topped off with chunks of fruit. One glass and you are almost through with your dinner, it is so filling.
They serve seasonal fruits with cream and come up with new desserts every now and then. The mango cream, which is available only during the summers, is my all time favorite.
Their pizza need a special mention. Do not expect an authentic Italian pizza here. They specialize in the’Indian Pizza’ which is so yummylicious that I travel all the way from the suburbs just for a slice or two. It is a must must try.
It is undoubtedly one of my favorite places to hang out, post dinner for a chilled glass of juice or a scrumptious dessert.
