I want to share my experience with Halden Luxury, an online brand claiming to offer premium belts and leather accessories for men. Despite their luxurious branding, this company has built a system that misleads and exploits customers. If you’ve heard about their recent funding round or the founders Anuj Beriwal and Mukund Singhal, read this before you buy anything from them.
The Marketing Trap
Halden Luxury, co-founded by Anuj Beriwal and Mukund Singhal in 2019, heavily markets its products as premium men’s accessories. They rely on aggressive advertising campaigns to make their products seem high-end. What’s even more enticing are their constant discounts, which create a false sense of urgency.
Here’s the red flag: All their products are always discounted. This isn’t a limited-time sale or clearance event—it’s a ploy to make customers believe they’re getting a deal.
The Product Quality - Halden Luxury Belts Review
When my purchase arrived, the truth became evident. The quality of the belt I ordered was horrible. It was flimsy, poorly made, and completely misrepresented in their advertisements. It was far from the luxurious product they promised.
The Refund/Return Scam
When I tried to return the product, Halden Luxury denied my request, citing their no-return policy for discounted items. Here’s the trick: since all their products are discounted, this policy effectively means no refunds or returns for anyone.
This isn’t just bad customer service; it’s a deliberate scam. They rely on this policy to lock customers into keeping their poor-quality products.
What’s even more frustrating is that Halden Luxury recently raised ₹5 crore in seed funding, led by Prajay Advisors. They claim the funds will be used to expand their market presence, product range, and offline stores. It’s disappointing to see investors like Prajay Advisors supporting a brand with such unethical practices.
As a customer, I feel cheated knowing this funding might go into expanding their ability to scam more people instead of improving product quality or customer service.
