We stayed at Hotel East Coast. There is only Haldia Dock in this area. It cannot be considered as a tourist spot but since I have visited this area I am submitting my review. The dock is the major trading centre in the region made by Kolkata Port Trust.
The complex features composite cargo handling facilities with particular emphasis on bulk cargo. Haldia port is the only reason why it is called commercial hub of West Bengal. 3 Oil Jetties with an overall capacity of 16 million tonnes handle crude POL products are also here. This is not the tourist place.
