Chetan Bhagat is famous only because his books are easy to read. Anyone who can string words together in English can read a Chetan Bhagat book. Half girlfriend is an average book like every other book of Chetan Bhagat. It is the same old story of poor boy falling in love with a rich girl. Throw in a few obstacles every 30 pages and a happy reunion as a climax. And you have Half girlfriend. I would recommend this book to Amateur readers to help create a habit of reading. His vocabulary is nothing great, either. Anyway, this a a Bollywood movie waiting to be made.
