Halloween is 11th movie of Halloween series and it is a direct sequel of 1978 Hollywood movie Halloween. The movie has been directed by David Gordon and stars once again Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as a Lawrence Road. This is the official sequel of first film it was directed by John carpenter. So as Michael Myers is being transported to a new facility the bus crashes letting himself and all the other patients escape Laurie strode has been preparing for this night for past 40 years. she has a stockpile of guns and home home filled with traps and she is ready to finally destroy Michael Myers once and for all I have not been this excited for new movie this year sense mission impossible fallout. I was so ready for this movie I am such a massive fan of the halloween films.
I was disappointed in this movie very disappointed it's not a bad film I certainly do not hate this film are think the word is frustrated I am just very frustrated because there are shades of greatness throughout this film and we'll talk about those first. Jimmy provides all of the best elements of the movie hot betrayal of Laurie strode now is fierce but most of all believable because when you go through traumatic experience in life like she went through you become very paranoid you start over prepare because you don't want that have to ever happened to you or any of your loved one again so I totally watt into watt she has now become as this very quiet seculed the woman who has like a gate around her house and all the secret hideaways in the house because she is planning for the inevitable escape of my eyes because she recognise is that he is more than human and she still believes in the Boogeyman after having experienced in the first film it was an just that I like seeing Jamie back in Halloween film do I really did handle story very well that water is betrayed by Judy and she had a very difficult youth because most of our youth was also being trained for the inevitable return of Michael Myers and so she has a lot of package with her mum and they don't really get along well.
Michael Myers is great in the movie The Mask is very good he doesn't look young and atrocious as he did in H2O with that really clean mask the look of Michael Myers is great and I also appreciate that Nick castle reprised him in certain scenes and so that was really nice to see there are few callbacks to the first film that didn't really feel necessary like just nostalgia but actually added you need to ask to the film 19 particular in class 11 and 12 years the end with a of course will not spoil but there are lot of skills in the movie that of sort of all messed directly from other movies.
Now I will talk about the negatives of the movie there are a lot of scenes in the movie that if any director would have seen thousand times and would not decide to do that there is very elongated creeping through the house scene that does not have much suspense. where is completed lack of atmosphere here one of the best parts of John carpenter's Halloween and really most of his movies is he is so good at atmosphere but this movie failed miserably in making that atmosphere of holiday and what it could mean. It doesn't feel like a lot of tension is belt and so much is diffuse by completeltly
It will start the movie is really an focus its trying to be horror film the tribute the original it's trying very much to be its own movie and few specific plots it's also trying to be funny. some of the characters in the movie and no purpose in the movie which makes it a lot frustrating. the biggest problem I have with this movie is about a character and the choice towards the start of the product that blows my mind it's a major spoiler and I can't get into it but its type of risk that if it paid off it would have been very interesting but it doesn't when the film and and my friends and I'll turn to each other and V1 like what the hell was spoilers all about and everybody was just baffled by it it is the strangers choice that I have seen in the movie like this.
I wish there was more Jamie Lee Curtis and it should have been just about her. the movie goes away faltu much and everytime intas it's kind of lost interest and towards the end that specific choice choice I hated it was so strange and out of left field along with the comedy Amit just diffuse so much of the tension there wasn't enough as possible.
In The end movie is not scary and disappoints us in some ways so I would not recommend you this movie.
