I will just make some quick observations of my trip here: - Anytime except peak summer is good time to go here. - This is India’s only boulder climbing destination. - Hampi can be covered in a weekend, but I would recommend a 3 day stay to enjoy the trip fully. It gets too rushed otherwise. -
There aren’t many luxury stay options, but the budget hotels and guest houses are numerous and not bad. - Bicyles are the best way to travel around in Hampi. - On the temple side, you can hire autos to cover the entire gamut of archaeological sites. Bargain hard. - Climb a hill if you can to see the sunset. It is quite beautiful.
