Pep up

I have had a lot of ups and downs in my lifetime-and my downs have really been low. In the past three years, I left a career that I loved so much to spend time with my father, who’s heart was on a downhill slope. I moved to the city where he lived, so that I could spend some time with him. I had a very hard time making financial ends meet. My bills were always late, etc.

Then my dad died, and my life fell apart. One month to the day later, my uncle died from suffocation-he had emphasima. He was my favorite Uncle. Needless to say, I was a mess. Once things settled down a little, and I knew my mom was going to be ok, I moved fifty miles away to try to make a better life. I worked at a car dealership as a service advisor for this past two years-until a new manager took over, and decided that women don’t belong in a service department. I have a case pending with that one. I had just purchased a home, and am now having a really hard time. I feel as though I’m going to lose everything I have, unless something happens soon. I have been really down a lot in the past three years, but what I’ve found is that you need to try to do things that make you feel good about yourself. I walk a lot-the sunshine really does help you feel a little better, at least for that day, so you walk again tomorrow.

Make sure you eat well, even if you really don’t have an appetite. It’s very important to take care of yourself. Take nice long hot baths before bedtime-it honestly does help to relax you. Make yourself stay in the tub, and think about peaceful places. You’ll fall asleep much faster, and have a much more relaxing sleep. Getting enough peaceful sleep is important to how you’ll feel the next morning. I hope I have helped someone out there.
