Ive been out of college for a few years now, but do remember those days of partying quite fondly. And I also remember those mornings filled with hangovers - however those memories are not as fond. How do you cure one, or better yet, prevent a hangover? The only sure way to not receive a hangover is to not drink alcoholic beverages in the first place. Yet if that would be the case, there would be no need to even right a review on this subject. So, onwards onto the topic at hand.
Throughout college, many ideas floated through my circle of friends as to how to prevent that dreaded hangover. We tried many of things, and I will share what I found to work the best. First off, I would usually take a tylenol or two before bed with a glass of water. Maybe it was all in my head, but that seemed to work pretty well for me. I also found that staying up a few hours after that last drink seemed to tone down any hangovers in the morning. I would try and let some of the alcohol drain out of my system before heading to sleep. Eating along with drinking alcohol tones down the effects of the dreaded morning after. We also made sure to drink plenty of fluids(the non-alcoholic kind) along with our alcoholic beverages to help the substances run out of our bodies. Theseremedies depend on how much alcohol is actually consumed. Sometimes no remedy for hangovers will work depending upon the amount of alcohol that has been drunk.
My main advice for preventing hangovers? Know your limit, and stay within that limit. Have fun, but drink safe. If you over do the alcohol consumption, there is no sure way to cure that morning hangover.
