Frank Peretti’s Hangman’s Curse is a sensational read. It is both suspense and thriller in an easy to read format, with illustrations before each chapter. You get a mind’s ’eye view’ of what each character is seeing as you go into each new avenue of the story. Although this book was aimed at youth in today’s schools, it is very entertaining and educational for parents. {adults}. The famed Baker High football team is losing potential winners of its team. They are seeing ghosts, hearing voices, and ending up in comas. And, the kids of Baker High are afraid to go into The Forbidden Hall, where this particular ghostly noise is busy.
