Well, I had heard a lot about Happiness Ice Cream Parlour at Sukhadia Circle, Udaipur and so went there recently with some friends and quite a few expectations. However guys, it was a huge letdown. Firstly, it’s hugely over-priced and their ice-creams are very, very ordinary. Would you believe this – we ordered a sundae with orange juice on top and we got a dollop with Miranda poured over it!
The less said about the ambience the better – the furniture was shabby, the place was unclean and unhygienic with chewed ice-cream scraps lying around, we saw insects crawling on the floor, the air-conditioning didn’t work, the place was dimly lit – the absolute pits. At the end of it all, they even refused to give us a voucher saying their printer had broken down. Really, we were just glad to get out of there and we’re definitely never going there again – avoid Happiness, Sukhadia Circle at all costs.
