Happy Death Day is a thriller drama genre movie which revolves around one day and one girl.
The plot of the movie is amazing. This college girl, not so ideal at the start, is murdered one night. She wakes up the other day on the same morning of her birthday, when she was murdered. And now she has to find her killer or die every day. The plot is really amazing and is well written with proper twists.
Performances by the lead actress Jessica Rothe is convincing and she justifies the role well. The whole movie concentrates on her and she let audience get bored in any shot. The guy Israel has also done a good job but his role is small. Some of the roles seem unnecessary and have no impact on the storyline.
Music is a bit disappointing as it does not add to the thriller effect of the movie. It could have been lot better.
Cinematography of the movie is really good in places where the scene blows your mind away.
Overall is a must watch movie for thriller lovers.
