I recently booked tickets for my mother, a senior citizen and a co-passenger through Happyeasygo and paid huge convenience fees. Later on due to sudden Covid situation at the destination, the entire trip both to and fro had to be cancelled.
Again this happyeasygo deducted convenience fee for cancellation resulting in zero refund against a total purchase price of around Rs.14000/-. During this Covid times, I would suggest never to fall into the trap like me, to any of these app based travel agents otherwise nothing gets refunded. It is always better to buy airline tickets as well as hotel tickets directly through concerned airlines/ hotels so that payment of such stupid convenieince fees at each transaction can be prevended. Beware of this fraudster company!
