Hard Rock Cafe-Bangalore

The Hard Rock Café in Bangalore is located at St. Mark’s Road which is in close vicinity to the city’s most crowded places, M.G Road and Brigade Road. The Hard Rock Café is never unnoticed by anybody passing by it because of its distinctly sculpted grey walls and authentic board which highlights the name. One doesn’t realize how huge it is; unless you push open the heavy door.

Once you are in, it is a different world all together. The Hard Rock Café is divided into 3 sections. One is the restaurant(tables and chairs), the other section is like an open courtyard with cushion seats, wide glass tables, and there is a bar section with barstools placed by it. The food ranges from sandwiches, salads, burgers to our very own tikkas, fish and curry. Drinks range from tea, coffee to mock tails, cocktails, beer.

Now, coming to the most interesting part about Hard Rock Café, the music, it creates the ambience and some of the best tracks are played to keep the visitors glued to this place. The music played between 6 to 8 in the evening consist of Hard Rock classic tracks by Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Van Halen, The Doors, The Who, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, AC DC, Dire Straits and so on. By late evening, Hard Rock Cafe starts drawing more crowd and the music shifts to heavier tracks by Rammstein, Marilyn Manson, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and many more.

Not just that, Hard Rock Café exhibits accessories like the leather jacket, plectrums(guitar picks), guitars, drum sticks, studded gloves, diamond studded suits that belonged to legendary rock stars from Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, The Doors, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath… There is also a Rock store where Harley Davidson pins, little guitar key chains, mugs and Hard Rock Café-Bangalore T-Shirts are for sale.

The customers are served on a first come first served basis which is managed pretty efficiently by the staff. There is also a provision for the reserving tables over the telephone. Considering the fact that this place gets packed by late evening, I would rate the service as “very good”. This is one place where you find the best of Bangalore crowds(I am being specific), you can move around with your drink and chill out after a stressful day’s work, a place where singing “Run to the hills”, “”Highway to hell”, “Du Hast” on top of your voice will be appreciated and you can forget all worries and enjoy music with your friends. So, Rock music lovers need not think twice before visiting. Just enter the Hard Rock Café and find bliss for the rest of the evening!

To conclude, I would say that the Hard Rock Café in Bangalore, although expensive, is highly recommended and is worth the money you spend for an evening.
