I did this trek in rainy season via nalichi vaat.It was really fantastic experience while doing this trek.
Harishchandragad is located approximately 92km from kalyan.It is situated in mhalshej ghat in Nagar district.
U can reach top of this fort by 3 ways as follows
1)Nalichi vaat-Its quite risky and difficult one.I will recommend this route only for experienced trekker.It has 3 stages or patch and also 80 degree climb.this rout become more difficult in rainy season. But after doing it u will feel that you achieved something.
2)Pachnai root-Its quite easy root and can be done by inexperienced trekkers also.
3)Khireshwar root-Its medium difficult root.
In nalichi vaat and khireshwar root u should have guide with you who will guide you.
The main attraction of this fort is KONKAN KADA.its almost 1, 423m concave fall.It is vertical overhang like a cobras hood.
Accommodation-there are peoples on the top who will arrange a shelter and food for you in night but while trekking u have to carry some food and water with you.
for safety I will recommend that u should keep ropes, good griped shoes, first aid kit, pen or chalk with you.
