I have been using blue harpic and even my mother but one day while shopping for groceries in a store I came across this and the toilet at my home are all white so I decided to give it a try. I got 2 bottles of this for both of my bathrooms and was hoping that this product at least would save my time.
When I dispensed some liquid in my toilet it smelled very hard bleach. It is a transparent and thick liquid. I spread it with the help of a brush and let it sit for 20 min. But after scrubbing with a toilet brush and flushing I was very disappointed that this did not manage to clean all the stains perfectly even after leaving for 20 minutes. Cleaning toilet is something that you don’t enjoy doing but you have to do this to maintain hygiene. Products like this really makes this session very unpleasant one.
I have been using blue harpic and got two bottle of this bleach variant to finish. It claims - “tough on stubborn stains for a deep clean, leaving your toilet disinfected, refreshed and shining brilliantly”. But it was not at all effective in cleaning or removing stains from my toilet. My toilet remained as just as it shows in their advertisement before using harpic. I tried this out so many times hoping to make this work but in vain. The money that I spend in buying two bottle of this now seems to be going in drain. My husband also tried this out and he too didn’t liked this.
It just smells strongly of bleach but does no cleaning and will be not effective in killing germs too. I even used this on my bathroom tiles, wash basins and floor but got the same result. It is not effective in removing stains and killing germs. The blue one is the best, I will stick to that and stay away from this. Harpic is very trusted brand and product like this really surprise me. This product is waste of money and would never recommend this to anyone. I would suggest people not to get trapped by fancy names and advertisement. The word bleach attracted me and I thought it will be good for white toilet pans, bowls and basins. It is very week and cleans only where it has been poured after spreading it loses its strength to clean.
