Brilliant!!

I actually finished reading the book as soon as it came out, but it took a while to write this review. I think that the Deathly Hallows was just BRILLIANT. I loved the fact that she manages to tie up all the important loose ends and the whole thing about the ownership of the wands was TOO GOOD.

Don’t want to say too much about it in the interests of those who haven’t yet read it (are there still any out there??). Yes, it is violent. Yes, it is dark (though not as dark as the Order of the Phoenix). And no, it isn’t too big. In fact, given the number of threads that needed wrapping up (and the price) I thought that it was going to be much thicker.

I’m glad that JKR wrapped up the series in a satisfactory manner. There  are those who have said that the end is "too made for the movies" type of thing, but I still think that  it was just  perfect. It is really  amazing to think that she had the entire storyline thought out before she began her first book. All in all, a terrific read that cannot be put down - at least the first time around :)
