I am a big Harry Potter fan, so as you can expect I was very excited to see the new movie. I thought the previews looked great and couldnt wait to see the movie.
When I eventually saw it, I immediately wanted to see it again. The effects were absolutely brilliant, especially the dragon scene and the water scene, those were wonderful. They were exactly as I had imagined when I read the book. Speaking of the book, if you compare the book with the movie, you wont give it a high rate, but it is hard for a director to fit the story in a movie without making too many big changes. I think the director did pretty well, considering.
Other high points was the Yule Ball scene, (in which Emma Watson looked stunning)which was beautifull. The dance lessons was a nice touch added to the movie, gave it a bit more humor. The Quidditch World Cup was nicely done, plus when the Death Eaters arrive was also very well portrayed. My favorite scene was without a doubt the one in the graveyard. Voldemort appearing was brilliant, plus the whole dark scenery around it was excellent.
The maze was good but a bit dissapointing, without all the traps and animals mentioned in the book, but the way it was filmed with the maze coming down on you did make you forget about it for a second.
Overall, the acting was brilliant, escpecially Ron and Harrys fight was well played, effects were great, story was nicely portrayed on screen, and it was absolutely a magical experience.
