Expecto Pactronum....gr8!

Order Of Phenoix is more intriguing, more thrilling and yes far more

magical.J.K.Rowling has been immensely successful in coming up with yet another great sequel to the ever green Potter series. And a lot of credit of this novel’s success should invariably be attributed to it’s immediate predeccesor Goblet of Fire. For GOF left on the note that Lord Voldermort is back again and this time he has acquired great powers with the help of his supporters aka Death Eaters. Hold on a

second.........what did you say?.......you are not able to fathom what am I talking about? Well I would recommend you to go and read all the previous Harry Potter books. This is the area where Ms Rowling has been successful as a writer. She makes you go back to all her previous book if you want to appreciate this one in particular. And what more Order of Phenoix ends on the note that lays a foundation for the next Potter books. So as a Potter book afficinado you are left with more

anxiousness and intrest for the next book.

About the novel:

Like all the previous novel Order of Phenoix begins with Harry spending his summer holidays with his Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia and of course his obnoxious and bully cousin Dudley. The summer holidays are a painful experience for Harry and he cannot wait to go to Hogwarts where he is about the all important fifth year of studying magic and wizardy. But something very dreadful and unimaginable happens to him at Privet Drive and Harry’s begins to feel his fifth are Hogwarts, the school of Wichtcraft and magic, would be more dramatic than all the

previous years.

The One who must not be named aka Lord Voldermart has realised that he enjoys a special connection with the Potter boy and because of this the members of the Order( i.e. the Order of Phenoix or simply the wizards and witches who would fight the Dark Lord) are on their heels. This novel involves a lot of chaos at Hogwarts and certainly a lot more chaos in Harry’s life. Along with his best friends Ron Weasly and Hermione Granger and a lot of other Hogwarts students like Ginny, Neville Longbottom, Luna Lovegood, Harry is about to confront The Dark Lord.

Alhomora...........the doors unlocked.....

Apart for the adventures and magic involved, Order of Phenoix also throws a light on why Harry is the ’boy who lived’? It also contains enough signs that are an indicative of Harry becoming a dark wizard himself. And yes Order of Phenoix is lot more philosophical in the sense that it protrays the fight between the good and the evil, but at the cost of the good. Now to how much extent the ’good’ sacrifice itself inorder to defeat the ’bad’?

Besides Harry and his adventure, this novel introduces a lot of new and intresting characters like Luna Lovegood and Professor Umbridge. And yes the new magical things are even more newer and magical. And ho......this year is indeed an important year for the fifth year Hogwarts students because they would have to appear for OWL or simply an exam called Ordinary Wizarding Levels. The performance in this exam would be detrimental for the wizards/witches in pursuing a carrer of their choice......how very muggle like isn’t it.

Few last words......

Order of Phenoix would appeal to the readers of all the ages alike. Althoug Goblet of Fire still remains the best work by Rowling, this book is more mysterious, more adventurous and certainly would leave Harry and the readers startled when they would come to know a very very intresting thing about Harry from Prof. Dumbledore.

Will Harry confront the Dark Lord this time? Will the ’Order’ be able to save his neck? Will the death of one of Harry’s dearest person weaken him? Will Haryy really become a Dark Wizard himself...........? Well grab the book and quench your thirst by finding answers to all these questions....Happy Reading!
