Reminds me so much of the matrix sequels where those turd wachowskis assumed that ’fans’ were more concerned with how the romance of fat Morpheus and Niobe, ’inanimate toothpick’ Neo and hs b*ch Trinity would end thn the dyanamics of the matrix.

J.K Rowling assumes tht the public which has so unprecentedly showered her with kudos, for what they found interesting - her takes on magic, its administrative essence, the unpredictable story, and the quirky humor; will now want to know about the angst, lust and love of harry potter and how he is ’special’ and part of some very matrix-like prophecy which relates him to the less-scary-with-every-word heavily-cliched-the so called ’Dark Lord’.
Add to that headmaster Gandalf duelling the reptilian eyed baddy in a plain very adrenaline lacking encounter, and making a total sissy out of the once crafty and super sadistic Voldemort leaves little scope or interest for the next in the franchise. Also notable is Harry Potter’s lustful moments with his gf pathetically disguised as love.
Considering that J.K.R is the proverbial ’woman who finally got kids to read’ most parents will not be very keen now, to let their wards read the next book without some justified censorship. Its very like Britney Spears dancing good yrs ago in a School dress with pigtails before shedding every bit of it inspiring an entire generation of too sexy, too grown up young american girls.

A few yrs ago, having completed GOF at 2.A.M in a dark room before my high school Physics exam .. Boy. Was I excited. Thinking that the series was ’finally’ begin to move donning a more adult appeal, but then, the lure of money is a fell thing, J.K.R not to be entirely blamed, being payd 60 pounds ( or ws it 80 ) for every written word even His Divine Grace Gautam Buddha would feel utterly tempted. So there it is, the dillema J.K.R faced - money or franchise ?
And the choice is .. guesses anyone..?
