Fantastic Experience

Of all the five movies released till date I think this might be my favourite. The book was ridiculously overwritten but whoever wrote the screenplay is a genius. Paring it down to essentials and then creating that wonderful product that I saw on screen must have been a difficult task, but it was done and for that I’m glad.

The first thing that struck me was the magnificent cinematography; I don’t think there could be anything more breathtaking in the Potterverse. Next were the performances; all cast members have matured and did a great job with their roles but Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge stole the show.

She brought Umbridge of the book to life. The special effects were very good but one thing did irk and that was the close-up shots of the news items. I could’ve done without those. There were fun moments and there were the dark moments and there was entertainment to be enjoyed by all. What more could one ask for?
