The third book is definitely the best yet as it is the turning point of the series (Daniel also looks cuter in the movie but thats irrelevent). All those who do not recommend or dislike Harry Potter don’t bother writting comments because your opinion is supposed to be in your reveiws and not my comments.
ANYWAY...in this book Harry finds the one and only living thing that he has left that is closest to a parent for him-his godfather and best friend of his father-Sirius Black. He loses him because of dementors (Gaurds of the wizard prison-Azkaban) as they are after Sirius, Sirius has to remain in hiding thus Harry can not live with him and contact him freely as Sirius is a wanted man.Though he can still meet and talk to Sirius in hiding Harry can not live with Sirius as Harry had wished before Peter- his dad’s other friend had run away. In this they also turn 13 so it’s really very cute to read Hermoine’s romance with Ron. Many new characters are introduced in this book and it starts off as a very good year for Harry but after this book and the escape of Peter eveyrthing has grown darker since. This book set the standard for the remainder and so far(that is the 6th book) J.K. Rowling has failed to keep up to her standards after book 3. This book keeps you in it like the beauty in "Beauty and the Beast", nothing has ever engrossed me as much. J.K. Rowling has succeded in evoking the readers feeling of sympathy for Harry by the end of the book.
Generally books on "wizards" and "magic" tend to be childish and boring but this is the first magically book with a plot and more words than just "hocus pocus".
Though I am not writing for all the books all of them are very good and should be read if you want to take the shortcut and watch the movies go ahead but Book 1 (For intro), Book 3 (very important ), Book 4 (must read, it is very well written especially since the movie is very incomplete at least read the last 4 chapters), Book 5 & 6 just read the last four chapters should be enough.
Book 3 itself is written so well that no matter how many times you read it you still want to pick up again and again. Anyone who reads this book becomes a fan of Harry’s. I myself have read it over 13 times.
People say it’s a kid’s book and romance and all shouldn’t be there, I disagree it’s not a kids book, it’s a book for all; I mean, come on will kids even know the meaning of the word ’discern’ without asking their parents before the age of 10? {maybe super geniues but I’m talking general}.
I have not written the complete story of the book but if any of you think that is required please comment.Thank you for all those who commented before.
