I am writing this review for Hathway Broadband Internet.I have been using Hathway for almost 2 years and never faced any problem till last few weeks.Hathway has many plans which we can take.as I download softwares for my use I took connection for 6 months and speed of 512 kbps and unlimited downloading.and this was my plan since 1 year and never faced any problems.but last sunday I received a message from them saying I have used 85% of my download limit.i was shocked as this was my unlimited downloading plan and how come I have used 85%.i called and they said u need to talk to renewal system guys and as it was sunday it was closed .so next day I called and explained them the problem.
I got answer from them that "UNLIMITED DOWNLOADING IS NOT UNLIMITED" its 10gb.so my net speed has decreased and I have to renew to get back my speed.I was furios and asked them from when this policy started and they said since october . I told them atleast u shud hv informed me as I had renewed in november.so came reply that havent u recieved any mail in your account inbox .i told them that I havent and they said u have to renew it to get actual speed of ur plan.
I was satisfied with what I had and now I have to search for new isp providers.Hathway has lost its reputation which they had a year back.now they are just looking to get more customers and get them into their policy trap.
I recommend all MS users to not opt for Hathway Broadband Internet.
