I’ve been a hathway subcriber for more than 3-4 years now. Initially they were good. Very responsive customer care and robust connection. I even recommended many of my friends to take up hathway.
But things have turned to worse in the last one year. There schemes are always secretive. so unless you know it through some one you will always end up paying more. I was paying Rs. 1500+ for a limited download connection @128 kps when they actually had a unlimited download scheme for Rs. 990 @256kps.
The speed are getting slower.I have a 256kps connection which in reality downloads at 900bps - 5kps.which is worse than a dialup. Occasionally you would see good patches of fast access. But thats occasional!.
Last one week the connection just goes off and then comes back after a few hours. I sent mails to the help desk. No response.
Tried calling them.always busy.all the time 24x7.
I really wonder if they are interested in staying in the broadband business. With no broadband nor customer care, why would anybody come to hathway?
Now, I’m left with no option but to terminate.
