My broadband connection was activated on Oct 13th with a promise of delivering a minimum speed of 25Mbps. The sales guy(Mr.Ram) was prompt to collect the check within 24 hours of placing the request for the connection.
Though the connection was activated on 13th, I could use the broadband on 21st of October since personal from their wiring department could finish the wring on 21st(a delay of 8 days). For the first 3 days I got a speed~4 Mbps. Between October 25th and Nov 10th, the network speed was less than 0.5 Mbps.
A standard response from the customer service center is - "there is a maintenance activity in your area. the problem will be resolved at the earliest".
Since November 10th, network is down completely. I had given more than 10 complaints and also request for refund of money paid towards the prepaid plan.
Till now problem is not solved nor refund of money paid towards the plan, 3 months tariff in advance(as per their policy this is non-refundable!).
Don’t ever go for Hathway broadband in Kavalbyrasandra and RT nagar area. The connection is not reliable - poor speed and frequent network drop.
Note that the amount paid towards the prepaid plan is non-refundable, even if Hathway fails to provide the connection!
