I have been using Hathway internet for almost 9 months now in Goregaon East area, Mumbai. 50 MBPS at Rs. 6500 for 6 months is just a steal, no doubt about that!
The only problem, though, is that the connection has been going down on an average of 2 times per month. It could be even more, since I notice this only during weekends. Whenever I face such a problem, the most frustrating thing has been the fact that I can’t even reach the customer care folks. Just frustrating! Eventually I go back to using my 3G connection with Wi-Fi hotspot, and eventually the hathway connection restores itself in a few hours anyways.
In my view, you can take the product, but be ready for frustrating sessions sometimes. Alternatively, you can always take the product and keep an MTNL Triband connection as backup. MTNL has prepaid facility which you can use every now and then:)
