Please do not take Hathway in Bangalore. When I applied for a connection, they very promptly collected the money, however it required constant follow ups to get the installation done.It was such a harrowing experience. Their customer support is also useless. I had taken a 3 months subscription, for 2 months it was fine and then it stopped. After endless calls to the call centre I understood that they will not be able to service my area. I asked them to issue a refund.
They promptly picked up the modem, but whenever I call them to ask about my refund they say they need to create a request and then I would have to return the modem. When I told them it is already done, and asked for more details about my refund, they transferred my call to some other other department, where nobody takes the call.
While they are very prompt to collect money this is the state of affairs when it comes to issuing refunds. My money is as good as gone. Shoddy service, incompetent customer service and cheating, that is in sum what Hathway stands for in my experience. Take this service at your risk.
