These guys are really ridiculous and braindead!!!

When I was in search of getting a broadband connectivity, 2 guys claiming to be from Hathway dropped in to my house with some brochures and receipts in their hands. After giving a 20-minute lecture on their services and reputation, they told me finally "they have 3000 satisfied customers in my locality". Since I was in urgent need of Internet at that point in time and also their story seemed to be reliable, I chose a plan immediately and handed over a cheque towards the installation and other necessary charges including one month billing in advance. Finally, he told me the cable would be layed in 3-4 working days and disappeared from there with a "Thank You." After 4 working days, we made a call to find out the status of the connection and we were told it would take another 2-3 days. After these extra 2-3 days, when we called up, their customer care said - "Sorry sir, we do not have coverage in your area." After listening to this nonsense, we asked them - then why was a cheque collected from us if you didn’t exist in our locality. Immediately comes the reply - "might be the executive would have collected to reach his target............" Do we need to pay and get such kind of people in our lives.......... Tell me friends, what should be done to such an awful so-called professionals!!!
