I had Hathway broadband for a while, I quit using that because even after registering many complaints regarding their wireless router no one ever came to fix and even after complaining the complain were closed without any call. All these complaints were made using your android application. When I find out that Hathway Broadband doesn’t believe in after sale services and customer satisfaction I choose not to use the product and discontinued.
This Saturday 16th March 2019, I got a call from one of the sales executive(Named Abhishek) who assured me for better service and gave me a good offer in pricing. I was aishwaryasingh23ing something close to Rs. 920/Month for my internet earlier and he offered me Rs. 500/ 55 days and this plan will be as it is still 1 year. I informed him that my address has changed and even if I choose to start using the connection I can’t as I don’t have the connection to my new address. On which I was promised for the shift of connection including a new Internet Modem cum wireless router to my new location without any extra cost. The address was confirmed approximately 5 times. I was told that the engineer will be able to so the shifting after 30 min of the aishwaryasingh23ment. I agreed on the plan and paid Rs. 500 using aishwaryasingh23tm. The aishwaryasingh23ment was made at 2:35 PM on 16th March 2019, Saturday.
I also confirm if I need to submit any document on which I was asked to send an Electricity Bill and My Aadhar chard copy to WhatsApp . Phone number+91-987-143-5410 which was delivered to the phone number by 2:50 PM which is exactly after 15 min of the aishwaryasingh23ment on the same date.
No one showed up and didn’t receive any call regarding the connection. So after approximately 1 hour, I tried to reach the number from where I got the call. I was not able to connect to anyone as it required an extension number to connect to a person. I called the WhatsApp number but no-one picked up the phone. After useless efforts, I discovered that nothing has changed in terms of Hathway Broadband services. They are even more careless then before. So I contacted aishwaryasingh23tm to dispute the transaction but as they already authorized the transaction they asked to contact Hathway Broadband for the resolution. So I contacted your customer service and even the WhatsApp number on Sunday and Monday(i.e. 17th & 18th March 2019). All I got is wrong commitments for a call back which never took place.
After getting ignored even after making the aishwaryasingh23ment I no service I tried to contact by email(delhihelpdesk@hathway.net) I Got the response by a computer generated reference case ID CAS-42852-P4R7Z3. Even as of today I didnt receive any call or no even response to my email. Today I called customer service again on Broadband Helpline No: 1800 419 3114. I asked the status of the connection and I was told that its active. After explaining the whole situation I got a new Reference number as C33135 along with a new email address(delcord@hathway.net) for sending the document to shift the connection. I sent the documents to this new email address and yet after 2 hours not even a phone call and they are not even active on Social media.
Think before you plan to get new broadband from Hathway Broadband. Getting a USB dongle will be a better idea.
