I got hathway internet connection 3 months ago and it is a 6 months scheme of rs 500 per month and I paid 3000rs for 6 months.Ever since I got the connection I am facing a major problem and I could not solve it till this minute.Someone please help me in this.The problem is this:
I have 64kbps unlimited hathway internet connection with a SB5100 cable modem.When I download torrent files(like movies) the download speed in hathway is very low around 2-3kbps, but the upload speed is normal.Usually if you have a 64kbps connection it will be around 7 kbps, previously I had sify internet connection where for a 64kbps I used tp get around 7-8 kbps. Is there is a way to FORWARD PORTS IN HATHWAY?.I have no firewall installed but something is blocking my speed and many say to download torrent files using ABC client port forwarding should be done.But how to do this in hathway?
How to forward the ports in motorola cable modem SB5100?Does someone have any idea?please guide me.
