Here’s my experience with Hathway: I have been using Hathway for some time now. It keeps going out of service every now and then. Every time I keep calling the engineer who fixed the cable at my place. I have a critical website to be updated everyday and non-availability of internet creats a problem for me, and this I have told the hathway guys earlier. Today (11-May-2007) it happened again. The internet was down, so as usual I called up the engineer. And as usual I was in the mode of request for the connectivity.
Sunnedly out of nowhere thsi guy said, if you want to talk you can talk to the customer care and started abusing me with words. Well, I have written about this to the MD of Hathway. I hope some action will be initiated. Not being pesimistic, but given the way such companies operate, nothing is going to happen. But the thoughts are very clear now. Once my account is over, I am switching. These are the companies who are claming to become tomorrows global companies.
This is the precise reason(the way indian companies handle customers) that they CAN NOT become global. Forget global, these companies will have a struggle surviving in the domestic market itself. So, take warning and leassons from here, give hathway a pass. Unfortunately, I read the review about hathway but STILL went ahead with Hathway. The lesson is learned, for life!
