I choose to use this because I thought this could be good product since one of my friend recommended this product to me I thought it would be good so I got Hathaway digital to my house.I dont know what happens to this service all of a sudden it gives me connection error and it will say that cables are not connected properly to the tv, since the service was new to me I thought cables are not connected properly, initially I thought its some connection error. What I did is restored the set top box to the default settings and tried unplugging the cable and I did try almost all the possible troubleshooting steps still it did not resolve the issue.
First day when I got this error message it was going in and out , kind of intermittent connection and it used to start again but on the next day , thats on Sunday it completely went off and was the same error as it was last day, it was completely down for one day . I checked with our neighbors even they had the same problem and Monday afternoon it came back and in the meantime we all had the same connection problem and again next weekends we started facing the same problem. Talking about the charges they really charging big time and one more thing is I am not getting HD channels as well.
When we get these kind of problems we dont have proper customer service , they dont have toll-free number , if in case if we need to contact the customer service care it will be chargeable . Sounds quality is also not good sometimes I will get to here some kind of noise and irritates a lot. I am tired of this Hathaway cable service. I am unsubscribing this connection soon and I really do not recommend this service to any of my family and friends. Its worst service I have ever seen.
