Sometime back we visited Haveli located at Kondapur. It was my send of party from my earlier team. We called them and booked a place for 20 people. As we reached there, we found that there was huge crowd on each floor of this 3 floor restaurant. So this guy asked us to go to 3rd floor, which was a reception hall and was placed with same reception tables with people sitting on both sides.
The arrangement was so bad that no two plates could have kept on table; we had to keep them diagonally. Then when we moved to get food from then buffet, we found that there is big Q everywhere, much bigger crowd than in our campus cafeteria(The V IT Park). We were quire annoyed to sit in such pathetic conditions. Yeah, I forgot to say, having such small tables were not sufficient but to add to that they had very little passage to pass people, so if you are sitting towards passage and another person on table behind you, then there was no space for people to pass.
Let’s not talk about food because you know there cannot be any good food if the crowd is more. The floor was accommodating more than 300 ppl, so it was utter chaos, bowls were empty, were not getting refilled, so many problems to talk about.
With such an experience, I swore that I’d not come there again.
But unfortunately, my new team members also booked same place for a next party in this week. I was atleast happy that we got space on 1st floor, where they have sofas to sit rather than that reception hall. But to my disappointment, they arranged these sofas also in same way, they didn’t leave any passage to pass people. so every time someone passes behind me, was hitting his bu*t to my chair. Rest was same!
I’d not rate this restaurant even a single star because it does not deserve.
Oh yes, all this pathetic experience comes at hefty price of Rs. 225+ Taxes per head.
