I had purchased Havells Swing Pedestrian fan with serial number 57M866005396 on 24 April 2023. I had called ganesh electricals new thippasandra. An electrician called me immediately mentioning he is from Ganesh Electricals. His name was Manjunath MP, I know this person as I have already seen him in Ganesh electricals and he has brought items from the shop earlier also. So I asked him to bring the fan home.He came home with the fan and installed it. He gave a Guarantee card. No bill was provided and told me I can collect bill from Ganesh electricals whenever I pass by. Also this is not first time I am buying product from him in the name of Ganesh Electricals. So I agreed. Within a week fan started giving too much noise. A service person called suresh came from Havells service, he repaired it with minor changes in 5 minutes. He insisted on bill and I had only guarntee card which I showed him. I was calling customer care of Havells and telling my problem, Meanwhile service person Suresh opened the fan and throw the front part down and went away telling he will damage it since money not given. When I contacted ganesh electricals they told Manjunath does not belong to them, and he is a frud taking their name. I called Manjunath multiple times, no proper response. Finally I had to file a police complaint against him. Overall it was a horrible experience of buying a fan from Havells which damaged in a week, and they send gundas home in name of service people. I need justice from Havells and they need to compensate the losses.
