NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT

I purchased 4 geysers of Havells model Adonia 25 liters on 03.02.2019. Last year, one of them was leaking and I lodged the complaint for replacement under warranty of 7 years. I faced extreme difficulties to get the geyser replaced and observed that the company always making excuses to avoid replacement of faulty geyser.


Again, one month back, I found little rust on the lower joint surface of another geyser. The rusting increased with time and then I lodged the complaint. The technician Sh. Shyam from Havells visited and after observation he told me there is no leakage. I asked him why the rust is there? It shows that the tank inside has rusted and may cause some accident. He cleaned the rust with tissue paper and repeated that there is no leakage. He refused to give me the report in writing depicting his cleverness.


This attitude confirms that under Havells strategy all the technicians are advised to avoid accepting complaint under warranty of the product. Surprisingly, rusting is not considered by Havells as a product(tank) malfunctioning.


I am waiting for the rust to appear again and then will lodge the complaint with consumer court.


I am scared of using the geyser in coming winter.


Shame on Havells.
