I purchased an Ezeebee HCL desktop from INCS(Mumbai) in July 05. The PC I bought was 505 PAZ.....and I was told by both the comalpny and the dealer that all PCs with this sl no. were coming with a warranty of 3 years.. Fine...within ..
Afew days the PC started misbehaving.. and I had to call th esevice centre... It seems service centre in Mumbai hasonly two tel lines they were always busy. so it may take u a day ortwo tolodge the complaint... anyways ..after 4-5days the PC was rectified...It was anightmare after taht as there was always some or other problem with the PC..again in 2007 my PC refused to sw on..
I called the compny and they repaired it. but again when I called the company for anotherdefect in my Pc in Oct 07 they told me it was not under warranty period and the waranty initially was only for one year. when I asked them how they have been repairing it since last two years .. I was told that they had not seen my records in their data base and it was mistake ....( they should have charged me!!)??..
When I went to INCS the dealer had changed and person who sold me the PC was notthere. However, , I was told that my PC in fact had a warranty of threeyears..but since the papers were not submitted to the company it was not registered... I ran around for two months to get it registered...but in vain....
Finally the dealer told me that my papers were untraceable...so he advised me to buy another extended warranty oftwo yearsfor Rs.5000/..I promptly did so, a si knew that this PC is prone to defects frequently.... I got an extended warranty from Dec 07 to Dec 09 Therafter my PC was repaired.. After this this PC has ben repaired 4/5 times..But few days back when my Monitor was defective I called up the company for lodging a complaint ..I was told that the warranty of my PC has expired in JUL 08...as it I this PC had a warranty of three years starting from Jul 05!!!! I am shell shocked......
They have no record of my extended warranty...in their data base....How bizzare!! First of all I am refused my original warranty and made to purchase extended warranty..then I am told my original warranty did exist...and there is no record of extended warranty for which I paid so much money........can any one trust these guys...It is an example of poor customer service, , ..bad product....and deliberate cheating..can any one from company answer my grievances...
