My name is aslam.im from from Kerala. I bought HCL laptop in the month of February 2008.it got dead after 2 months.
Since then, i went to your Ernakulam service center for 6 times, due to different hardware failures. They replaced its motherboard 2 times.
When the first time I gave it for repair, they replaced my DVD writer and bluetooth with old ones, for no reason.when I asked about that, they changed it after two weeks. After I went there for several times due to hardware failure.
And one month before, it got dead again.and now after last service I got it back on 22 august.they changed it motherboard again. And now just after 4 days it’s dead again.... what a wonderful service. Their helpline(011-6609-4444) is the next disappointment. when ever I call them and complain about their service they again refer me to the same service center. and I mailed my complaint to response@hcl.in, and I swear till today.
I didn’t get any response . So I don’t recommend buying an HCL laptop. because they don’t value or respect their customer. They are supposed to give us good service and they don’t do.
