Hdfc bank customer care credit card department

To whom it may concern


Today( 23rd January 2015) I received 3 unanswered calls from your customer care department credit branch located in mohali land-line number at timings 16.56 pm, 16.57 pm and then from a mobile number at 16.58 pm. I was sleeping at that time due being sick from cold weather. 4th call I answered  from mobile number listed above from a  customer care executive who said her name was Reshma.


She did not repeat her name on being asked again and again. I told her that I was not in the state to answer any phone calls on which she reiterated that I HAD to listen to her and confirm to whatever she was about to say. This annoyed me a lot and I started to abuse her and  hung up on her after realizing that abusing girls is not in my actual nature and ill health prevented me from making further conversation.


She called again from the land-line number listed above at 17.07 pm and started firing back about how I cant behave like that with her and I will have to listen to and agree to whatever she says and I hung up just before she started to abuse me. I have worked in BPO and KPO as well and know the ins and outs of how to get around call recording process and give customer a hard time. If you review all my previous conversations with all the HDFC bank executives you will clearly see how my behavior and response is to them and how polite I was when tending their calls regarding HDFC credit card or HDFC-ERGO. You just cant behave like a monkey with your customer. HDFC bank boosts of several achievements yet their customer feel the hurt from customer care who sound more like an extortion branch of some mafia group.


This has harassed me and deeply hurt me emotionally and I will severe all ties, present and future, with HDFC bank if this matter is not expedited judiciously. The complaint submitted to you complaints department is  #10656625. I also will take this matter further up with concerned authorities if push comes to shove. Not expecting but an asap response would be helpful.
