Highly disappointed with HDFC Bank..

I have a salary account with HDFC Bank. I first selected HDFC Bank because they provide all types of facilities in the kit. Such as a Master card, Net banking, etc. However after few days of opening the account, I received a call from the credit card department. They suggested me to apply for a credit card as it offered many benifits. I agreed and provided them with all the details that were needed. That agent was so unattractive that inspite me telling her her the complete address accurately, still she entered a wrong address. Hence when that card came for the delivery, the delivery agent was not able find my address. Even though I was guiding him towards my address, still he said that he cannot deliver it to a address that doesn't match exactly with the given address. After all this hassle I was so frustrated.At last I contacted the customer service. The worst part about HDFC Bank's customer service is that you cannot connect to the agent without waisting atleast 10 minutes of your time at first. Even they did not povide any good resolution. In the end I went to the branch to close my account but for that they first need to delink my credit card which was never received by me. Still I am going through the same hastle every month as my account is not yet closed.


I would never recommend anyone for HDFC Bank after facing such horrible experience.
