HDFC Bank has turned out to be a complete mess now. I happen to be a poor shareholder and constantly follow this bank for last 10 years. What worries me now is the way it is being promoted. One of my friend’s son works here and starts at 7 AM coming back at 11 PM. He can not give time to his daughter, to his father or family. I only hear stress on performance and productivity. Also too much hype about being a clean bank and managing downturn. Complete cowards and worst performers in terms of human value.
I definitely would not like my money to promote this bank which did not care for its customers anyway (for which everyday I read reviews) and now now completely stressed and poor staff. This is a group of old mercenaries who are raping young talents for their own personal wish. They pocket sizeable stock options and bonus and give us shareholders nothing but an eyewash. At least till date, I was happy about its work culture but when I saw my friend’s son working on Sundays and literally having nervous tears in his eyes while talking to his bosses, I started feeling only sad. It is set to go straight down as no organisation can grow on death of its talented manpower.
