HDFC is agood bank.
Since I am a techno-savvy person this bank is for me, it has mobile banking, ATM machines and net banking.
WHat makes it differenrt from the others like the nationalised ones is that it has loads of ATM machines all over Mumbai and India, and in the rite places 2, there is one outside my house, one outside my classe, one outside my college, one on linking road. one near my cousins place, its everywhere, I think I can safely say it has more ATM’s than, HSBC or SBI of which I have seen only 3 and 2 respectively, while of HDFC I have seen 9. They all have deposit functions.
The great thing is that it takes only one business day to clear cheques.
The service is always given with a smile.Though I agree the enquiries at Santacruz is a little grumpy and the account opening is a tedious process. All in all that’s all.
For this I give this bank the second place, the first I give to HSBC.
I would recommend HDFC for students and techno savvy and those who heavily rely on ATM(like me)
