A bank with unprofessional staff.

Dear friends,


If you want a good banking experience, never go with HDFC bank. My experience is the best example to understand the improper behavior of the banking staff.


I’m a business man and I needed a current account. One of my friend working in the same bank. So I ask him about the procedures, then he connected me with an account section staff and informed me he will do everything.


On then next day I went to the bank and submitted all the documents. They verified all the papers and said that the account will be active with in two days. Then I planned to operate some of the important financial transactions through the new account. Unfortunately, they called after two days and told me some more documents are needed. They give me a format of application but it contains a number of mistakes.


I complained to the manager but he was an irresponsible fellow. He doesn’t know anything properly and all the things doing with the help of other staff. Finally, the account has opened but it has only limited access. I can’t use internet banking at the movement. It will take five days to fully activate the account but they didn’t give proper information about this. So all of my planning were changed and I felt more discomfort.


The main problem is the unprofessional and irresponsible behavior of the staff. I think they will not get proper training. After account opening, I requested to give QR code. One of the staff told me that it is a simple procedure, he will prepare the documents and come to my home to collect my signature. He came to my home and I put the sign all the papers. Then he told me the photostat copies of partnership deed, Aadhar card, Pan card and office seal is mandatory. Actually, that was a busy day for me but I spend a huge time arrange these documents.


Then the telephonic verification and shop verification has completed but I didn’t get the QR code. Again I called him then he said, an email will come but I never received a mail from HDFC bank about this procedure. I complained the higher officials of the bank. They are checking the status but I didn’t get the QR even now. I’m trying it for two months and now I planned to transfer my account to another bank. I have totally worst experience with this bank.


The management and the employees are unprofessional and irresponsible.


They are not welcoming the suggestions of the customers and not ready to solve complaints.


They will not give information at the proper time.


The attitudes of the employees are not hospitable.


All the procedures are time consuming and disgusting.


I humbly request to HDFC management to employ more educated and well trained staff to deal with customers.
