I applied for home loan on 12.9.2005 at HDFC Bank fort branch. Then they kept quite. After enquiring, they said they wanted some more documents. Then no word from them. A visit to ramon house, HT Parekh Road, Backbay reclamation churchgate, mumbai revealed that they have some obscure back office at jogeshwari where my documents are being processed. I go to fort branch again. I meet a jerk called pradeep (Mob 9223449895) who is a smooth talker. He just says that the loan is under process. He gives me a spot approval on 17.10.2005. But no sign of formal sanction letter. His mobile is out of reach or does not respond. After much pestering, he wants some other additional documents. November arrives. No sign of the loan. I go to fort branch. Again, I am asked for more documents.Every time I am assured my loan is 100 approved. But these people just dont respond. Then I call Pradeep’s boss Bhavin (9819048043) and he repeats these words like a parrot. One 30.11.2005, Bhavin informs me that my loan is rejected due to poor customer quality. Morale of this story: If you want to be treated worse than a leper, begger go to HDFC. You will get headache, mental tension free but no loan! HDFC deserves minus stars in this review!!!!!
