Except what others have wrote about HDFC, I would like to add one thing, they don’t even have facility to send you SMS alerts for transactions less than 5000/-
Now I mean, If someone is misusing my card, and he/she know I am using a looser bank like HDFC, he would carry out transactions in segments of 4500 Rs, isn’t it?
And they think they are smart asses while not sending me those alerts, although 90% of transactions are lesser than that amount. Tell me, how would I know if the petrol pump guy swiped my card for the correct amount? And is there anyone out there who fills for more than 5000?
I’ll recommend not to use this bank ever! Stay away as far as you can.
