This is Amit Sanwal I am having a salary account with HDFC which I am using for last 18 month, the service provided by this bank is not upto the mark and the customer care staff are also not so helpfull compare to there counterpart bank.
Recently I used this account for making the online Income Tax payment the payment amount was being deducted from bank account but the challan copy was not generated, regarding this context I contact the HDFC bank at the number 011-41514332 and logged the complaint that I would be needing the receipt of the challan copy which I need while filling the income tax return, I on the same time also sent the mail to support@hdfcbank.com but the reply was horrible and of very low quality and the bank customer care staff was seeing very adamant in term of helping the customer and the quality of software that the bank is using is also of very low quality as my self is a technichal guy working in Software company and I can understand the quality of the software.
The bank is also having poor services in term of net banking like you need to visit the individual branch for updating your mobile number for receiving SMS alert and redeeming the FD being opened using net banking which other banks are doing using online mode.
Please beware of the HDFC bank as the bank do not seems to be fit in my eyes, I have already removed this bank from my salary account and planning to close my saving account also.
