Service used to be good when I had deposited large amount of money. Later I learnt that the rudeness and arrogance of staff is inversely proportional to the amount you have in your account. Last month, on Tuesday which is a branch, I wanted some urgent clarification on some of the transaction and hence I called up phone banking. Phone banking said I have to call up branch.
Unfortunately, I had to wait until next day and after several attempts reached the bank. The person who picked up the phone said he is in cash counter and asked me to call up another number. To my surprise, he said he cant transfer the call from one extension to other.
Finally when I reached personal banker, she asked me to call up Phone banking with the reason the there are too many customers, previous day being holiday. The other alternative suggest was that I go to bank personally which is 16KM away. Finally I got the necessary clarification through e-mail support.
The worst was yet to happen. I noticed last week that Rs.30 was deduced as PHONE BANKING SERVICE CHARGES. On thier website, they advertise with bold letters that Phone banking is FREE.
More over without any SHAME, Rs.30 has been withdrawn from my FD for NO service rendered. Feedback was given to bank over web, but no response till date.
